Breed SHOWING
There are many aspects to breed showing. Here we have an example of two Boerboels (courtesy Akira Boerboels) ready to enter into a Grading show, which is an example of a breed show.

Important factors in wanting to show a dog for breed are that the dog must be registered (with KUSA, or one of the breed specific clubs), and have a full breeding pedigree. Without this, you will not be able to enter a breed show. In addition, the dog must not be neutered and bitches must not be spayed.

Dogs must be taught to "stack" (stand correctly, according to the breed specifics) and be tolerant of being handled by strangers, and be trained to stand and show the correct gait in the ring. Smaller dogs are required to stand on tables to be examined by judges and must be taught to do this with confidence.

We offer full training for breed shows.
