The Beagle!
The beagle is a popular breed, with an amazing nature. This is the breed used most frequently for animal testing and experimentation ( horrible!) due to it's kind nature and extreme tolerance of people!
We have a famous Beagle, Hampton, in our training school, who has trained up to a level ready for competative obedience in Beginners!
Wonderful dogs, one of my favourites!
Well known as the hunting dog, not to be confused with "Hounds", but also seen at the fox hunts, this breed originated in Great Britian, finally finding it's place as a rabbit and hare hunter of note.
Character: Stong! Willful! Alert! Very quick learners! Can be prone to wander off, and love chasing a scent. Generally well natured and socialable, making good companion dogs. Ideal choice for those wishing to pursue the sports of tracking and scenting.
