Feeding Guide

How much should I feed my dog?

This is a question that is asked often and in all honesty, feeding a dog is not an exact science. It all depends on your dog's metabolism, how active he or she is, the time of the year and breed. These following recommended amounts are for average conditions. Your dog’s requirements may vary according to its breed, age, size, activity and environment. We suggest taking the daily recommended amount and splitting it into two meals a day for adults and three meals a day for a puppy.

Always ensure that your dog has free access to plenty of fresh, clean water – especially during very hot weather. Any eating disorder should be referred to your dog’s veterinarian without hesitation.  If you require further information on feeding and care, please contact us.
